What a run for Our Budding Magpies! 🖤🤍
As we wrap up an incredible underage season, for our U11/9/7s to our current U10/8/6s, we couldn’t be prouder of our young stars' progress.
From the first swing of the hurley to the last kick of the ball, the boys have shown amazing progress in both codes this year. Every block, pass, and score reflects their effort, teamwork, and love for the game.
Our Player of the Week awards have been a huge success, celebrating the dedication and spirit that make this group so special. We are also blessed to have had the fantastic astro to train on rain or shine 🙌
A huge thank you to all the parents for your continued support throughout the season, your encouragement makes all the difference.
To top off the season, we were delighted to welcome some of our Premier Intermediate team, fresh from their semi-final win, to present medals to our young Maggies. Huge thanks to Stig, Aaron, and Oisin for calling in and inspiring the next generation 💪
We also want to thank our Underage Chairman, Brian Russell, for joining us this evening. It’s fantastic to see so many seasoned Magpies proudly wearing the black and white, setting a wonderful example for our future flagshippers.
Big thanks also to all our brilliant coaching teams, Jake Kearney, Brian Troy (U6&7) supported by Ciaran Tiernan, Ciaran Murphy, Grainne Lynch, Philip Higgins, Jason Kiely, Michael McMahon, Caroline Roche, Charlene Lynch. Noel Barry & Ruairí Concannon (U9,11,8 10s) supported by Padraig Quinn, Mikey O'Regan, Eoin Kearney, Darragh O'Callaghan, Donnacha Cassidy, Mark O'Connell, James Blake, Bernard Scanlon, Roger McMahon, Mark Cunningham, Noel Murphy, David McParland, Alan Troy & Donie Vaughan for their planning and commitment in leading the charge across the age groups, coordinating blitzes week after week and more importantly, goodie bags...the highlight 🍬
Finally we wish everyone involved a well deserved break until we go again. Time to invest our energy into getting behind our Flagship team now 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
