Clare U15 'Super 10s' took place in both Caherlohan and Clareabbey on Wednesday evening. Clarecastle entered two teams in the competition one in the cup and one in the shield.
In the cup held in Caherlohan we played Tulla, Scarriff/Oggonnoloe and Clonlara winning our first two games by 1 score in two high scoring games, the 3rd game we beat Clonlara convincingly to qualify top of the group to reach the semi final against Corofin/Ruan, we ran into the strongest team and eventual competition winners here but the lads performed very admirably in both 10 minute halves and showed great spirit which was heat warming to see. Corofin eventually winning out beating eire og in the final. 

We played in the shield competition in Clareabbey where we had two games that saw us lline out against Sixmilebridge and Wolfe Tones in the competition. Our opening game against Wolfe Tones was a tight affair with our opposition eventually running out winners but with the narrowest of margins. In our second game we came up against Sixmilebridge who were very strong and eventually got the better of us. We missed out on qualifying for the semi-finals unluckily due to the one point defeat to Wolfe Tones.
