Hard luck to the U15s on their loss to Cratloe this afternoon in the A Hurling Final in Sixmilebridge.
As both teams traded scores in the opening half it was Sean Kelly (0-8) and Sean Meere (0-2) who were both in scoring form for the Magpies. Cratloe maintained the lead by 2 points at the interval on a score of 0-10 to 1-9.
After ten minutes into the second half Cratloe extended their lead to eight points. Clarecastle scored two of the next scores with a goal from Sean Meere followed by a point from Kiernan Sheridan to reduce the deficit to just four points.
As the game reached the final quarter until the end of the second half, Cratloe side made better use of their possession that came their way extending the cap to push on to earn a comfortable victory.
